Responsibilities
- Use advanced data analysis techniques to interpret complex datasets.
- Extract actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions.
- Create SQL queries to obtain data from multiple tables to spool into CSV, excel, or flat file formats and provide extracts to the business.
- Perform data profiling and data cleansing
- Apply rules and develop mappings to help move data from source to target systems.
- Perform other production support and information technology-related duties as needed or required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database and data problems.
- Work alongside teams within the business, Solution team, or technical team to establish business needs.
Skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Data Analysis & Software Development experience.
- Have solid consulting ability across data profiling/analysis, SQL, and data deduplication/cleansing processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills – the ability to analyse and critically evaluate gathered information to resolve conflicts, anticipate issues, and make priority decisions.
- You will have ideally worked within a client-facing capacity, with the interpersonal and communication skills to manage and influence key relationships with stakeholders.
- Have experience in evaluating and procuring software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Salary: AUD 100,000 to 110,000
